Flags for Heroes
Words cannot fully capture the depth of tragedy our community is experiencing right now as a result of Hurricane Helene. Amid the devastation, we have witnessed remarkable acts of heroism and a strong sense of unity as we care for one another.
In light of our current focus on healing, we are temporarily suspending the Flags for Heroes program. We look forward to honoring our incredible heroes together in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time.
Please stay safe and take care of one another!
Our Mission
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Our Vision
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
What We Do
-
The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
-
High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
-
The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
-
The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
Let’s Work Together
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. We work with our local community partners, Rotary International, and other clubs to:
Promote peace
Fight disease
Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Save mothers and children
Support education
Grow local economies
Protect the environment
The Four Way Test
The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do —
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
